October Update

Dear Brothers and Sisters,

The board of Jesus Harvesters Ministry greet you in the Name above all names. The Lord has been so gracious in his dealings with us. The banquet held in September was a great time of fellowship. Some money was raised so that we can help with the cost of the ministry of spreading the Word in East Africa. We are especially thankfull for the opportunity to help Jennifer Kabachia and Bishop Evans Achanga. Even though the amount is small we hope that this amount will grow.

At the banquet we received an update regarding the differing aspects of the ministry; the orphanage in Loitoktok, the well drilling project, the pastor’s school, and the heart of the ministry which is church planting. We also heard from our speaker, Dan Germo, who brought a message as to the “why” of missions.

Jennifer shared her greetings and challenged us to keep going on. She has been going from church plant to church plant encouraging the believers. We are so greatful for her ministry.

Bishop Achanga has been working tirelessly with strategic plans for the future. Among these is the short term goal of reaching ten thousand people for Christ this next year. Speaking of this, a mission team from Birmingham will be going in January to plant and encourage churches around Voi, Kenya. This will be a medical church planting mission. They plan to fund a chapel and provide a roof for another. Please pray for this endeavor.

Please pray not only for the work but about your participation. Remember that our new address is { Jesus Harvesters Ministry, c/o Papersoft, 241 applegate trace, Pelham, Al. 35124}. We are also working on more on line ways of keeping in touch.
