Pastor "GG" has been a faithful servant and minister with Jesus Harvesters and Agape Fellowship since the beginning. He is the brother of our late founder, Dr. Steve Kabachia, and has been recently called to serve in a very challenging place, Chokaa. Chokaa is a slum in Nairobi. Slums are a direct result of rapid urban growth where people come looking for jobs and a better life. Many of these slum-dwellers are unable to find work or sufficient housing so they end up in a slum. Slums are characterized by crime, extreme poverty, poor healthcare, and no access to clean water or education. It is a very difficult and dangerous life in a slum. In the midst of this darkness, Pastor GG felt a call from the Lord to plant a church. In Matthew 25, Jesus told the parable of the sheeps and the goats in which he talks about ministering to the poor, hungry, and destitute. In verse 40, Jesus says "Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of Mine, you did for Me." Pray for Pastor GG as he continues his ministry in the Chokaa slum ministering to the "least of these" as He serves the Lord. Recently, GG shared his testimony with us about his call to ministry in the slums. I share it now with you below.
As you can see, GG has a deep passion for this ministry to which God has called him. You can follow GG on Facebook if you would like to stay in touch or even encourage him. The Chokaa church has a crusade starting TODAY and you can join us in praying for a great harvest among the people in Chokaa. You are also welcome to donate to this ministry through Jesus Harvesters Ministry and we will ensure the funds reach his ministry directly.
